NHRTC WEBINAR: State of NH Rail Trails
    Thursday, January 26, 2023 7:00 pm

The New Hampshire Rail Trails Coalition (NHRTC) is starting off 2023 preparing an informational webinar for all who are interested in the current status of NH Rail Trails and how they are funded.Join us via Zoom on Thursday, January 26th for a 40 minute presentation and a 20 minute or more time for lively discussion, idea sharing and Q&As.

The Webinar is free, just sign up via this Eventbrite link.

Sign up and spread the word about the “State of NH Rail Trails” webinar to your friends who love rail trails and would like to extend and improve them! The Webinar will be recorded, so sign up to watch it “Live” or to watch the recording at your convenience at a later date.

What will be covered in the Webinar? Here is a sneak preview of what we plan to present. At first, even we could not accurately answer all of these questions! We have now done our homework and will share our results with you. We will address the conundrum of rail trail funding (mostly via the motorized recreation users), and rail trail usage (mostly the nonmotorized, active trail users). How does this add up?

    Outline for this Webinar:
    New Hampshire Rail Trail Status
    • How many rail trails are there in NH?
    • How many miles do we have?
    • Where are they? Are there maps?
    • Who owns them? State? Town?
    • Who maintains them?
    • How are our rail trails funded?
    • What can we do to help fund our rail trails?

The is the first of a series of NHRTC Webinars that we are planning for 2023, so join us for this inaugural event! We have a 2023 New Year’s Resolution to share information about our NH Rail Trails with our members and friends!

See you on January 26th at 7:00 via Zoom.
