About Us

The Salem Bike-Ped Corridor Committee members were approved by the Board of Selectmen based on their background, involvement in the town, and willingness to serve on the committee. A complimentary mix of town knowledge, business interests, residential area concerns, traffic engineering, and bicyclists’ expectations were considered in the selection of the seven-person committee.

The SBPC Committee is guided by William Scott, Salem Community Development Director, and reports to the Board of Selectmen. Professional engineering services are provided by VHB Engineering of Bedford, NH, with Greg Bakos and Michael Hansen being assigned to the Salem project.
