Cycling on the NH International Speedway, June 20, 5:00-7:30 PM
The third annual "Safe Kids 500" event at the famous NH International Speedway in Loudon NH was sponsored by the Safe Kids Coalition on Wednesday, June 20, 5:00 to 7:30 PM. Many volunteers helped make the event run smoothly and for the first time in three years the weather cooperated. Everyone was able to pedal on the racetrack without being in a race, and without the noise and smoke from the race cars normally seen on this track. Bike safety checks and repair services were provided by S&W Sports of Concord while the BWA-NH had a table display, answered many questions, and helped fit some helmets.
