"Better Biking" course at NHCTC-Manchester completed
A total of 14 people signed-up for the 15-hour, five-session bicycling class held at the NH Community Technical College in Manchester with Dave Topham being the instructor. This course was based on the nationally-recognized LAB "Road I" program which included considerable on-bike time, classroom work, and finally road and written tests. Eleven people now have their LAB "Road I" certificates and feel they are more competent cyclists. Feedback from the participants to the college and the LAB was very positive with most people wishing the course to be longer so as to incorporate more hands-on maintenance training and longer rides.
