The third annual meeting of New Hampshire Rail Trails Alliance supporters was held on Saturday, November 14, in Concord.
The previous two meetings have been very successful in getting people throughout the state together to discuss issues. We all tend to feel we are islands working out problems. It is great to know how other groups have been solving them and whom to contact.
This year's theme was "Regional Trails Connectivity." We will be exploring very ambitious goals for the Lebanon-to-Salem Granite State Rail Trail and the Franklin-to-Meredith Winnipesaukee Trail. Both have many sections with differing issues to resolve. In addition, we will have officials from DOT and DRED describing how we can get the most out of state resources. In addition, we allowed plenty of time to network with others at the meeting.
Please put this meeting on your calendar for next year, the second Saturday of November, the 13th. Don't miss it! These meetings only occur once a year.
