12-hour 4-part bicycling class in Derry, NH

Summary:

A total of 14 people signed-up for the "Better Biking" course at NHCTC, a program based on the League of American Bicyclists "Bike-Ed Road I" program. Again, rain and flooding in May upset the schedule so that only nine people completed the 12-hour course. However, while not part of the original couse, four people elected to take the optional written and road tests on July 1. Everyone said the exams were harder than expected but all did pass. Please congratulate the latest LAB Certified Effective Cyclists in New Hampshire: John Gagnon of Salem, Bob Koehler of Londonderry, John Taylor of Derry, and Nancy Wood of Concord. Course instructor was Dave Topham of Salem, LCI # 39.
