2008 BWWD Safety Kit for Event Organizers
Be seen and be safe!
The following items
are to be supplied by NH DOT to enhance safety when bicycling or walking. They
are to be provided to BWWD Organizers for their use or distribution to event
participants. It is suggested that the organizers wear the safety vests during
your event to make yourself more visible to the participants. It is always easier
to identify someone by what they are wearing than being "lost in the crowd"
when that person is needed.
A limit of two kits per event will be shipped by BWA-NH to the organizers who
submit their event details by April 14. Quantities are limited, so first come,
first served. Items for the kits will be procured, packaged, and shipped to
the registered event organizers during the first week of May. Please submit
your event details for posting on the BWA-NH web site BWWD calendar plus
your postal address for mailing the safety kits to info@bwanh.org
not later than Monday, April 14, 2008.
The safety kits will contain the following items:
--> Reflective safety vest - one size fits all
--> Red LED clip-on flasher
--> Reflective Velcro straps for legs or arms
--> Water bottle
--> Set of new State of NH bike maps
--> Copies of participant survey sheet
--> Copies of NH Road Hog/Road Warrior brochure
--> Copies of BWA-NH informational brochure
--> Nylon bag
with straps to hold the above items
The completed participant survey sheets should be sent
